After discussing the glamorous prizes associated with the 23 Things program tonight with colleagues, I realized that I have technically not completed all 23 Things! And the deadline is midnight tonight!
The Thing I skipped was actually Thing #2: discuss the habits of lifelong learners that are easiest and hardest for me.
After watching the sleepy little podcast (that woman's voice was like a sedative), I realized that the easiest lifelong learning habit for me is to accept responsibility for my own learning. I have never been afraid to ask for help and have sought out training opportunities whenever I felt they would be helpful. The hardest is definitely "viewing challenges as learning opportunities." Rarely, when faced with "one of life's curveballs," do I say to myself, "Oh goodie, an opportunity to learn!" Instead, I freak out and learn whatever new task I need to learn to get through the crisis in a state of nervous agitation. Not great for learning.....
OK, it's now officially, official - I've completed the 23 Things!~ On with the prizes!!!!!!

You are spot-on about that video! I give her props for trying, and even more props for putting those "Fast Forward" buttons in there for those of us who didn't want to listen. :)
Congratulations on finishing 23 Things. Your blog is excellent! And yes, on with the prizes! I'm hoping to win one, too.
