Well, he also wrote the guide to field-dressing a deer in 1963 that Parks and Wildlife still gives out to hunters and is available as a pdf from their website. Daddy thinks that his sister Sharon drew the illustrations.
This fills me with ridiculous pride. It's a piece of him and Sharon that is living on and I get a little thrill whenever I look at it.
Miss them both.
